These terms govern use of edentine, a clinic operating suite for dental practices.
Using edentine
Clinics are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining appropriate patient permissions, and using the service in accordance with applicable healthcare, privacy, and recordkeeping laws. Users must keep their credentials confidential and use only the access granted to them.
Clinic responsibility
The clinic remains the data controller and is responsible for its patient records, notices, consents, clinical decisions, appointment content, billing records, and instructions to third-party services. edentine is an administrative and communication tool and does not replace professional clinical judgment.
WhatsApp and third-party services
Optional WhatsApp API messaging is sent through Meta/WhatsApp using the clinic’s connected account and approved templates. Third-party services may have their own terms, policies, availability, and charges. Clinics must ensure they have authority to send messages to recipients.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, probe, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.
- Do not upload unlawful, malicious, or infringing content.
- Do not use edentine for emergencies or as a substitute for urgent medical care.
- Do not share patient information with users who are not authorized to access it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep edentine available and secure, but maintenance, outages, third-party failures, and events outside our control may affect availability. Features and these terms may change; updated terms will be posted with a revised date.
Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, investigate misuse, address non-payment, or comply with law. Clinics may request account closure and deletion of eligible data by contacting privacy@edentine.com.
